Ford 351C / 351M-400 Application Info

Waterpump

All 351C / 351M-400 pulley systems are designed for standard rotation water pumps.

Stock Ford water pumps will work.

Aftermarket pumps are available as well, including: Edelbrock #8844 (cast) or #8849 (polished), Milodon #16235 (hi-volume) or 16335 (std), Flow Kooler #1648, and GMB #1251110AL.

Crankshaft Damper

351C / 351M-400 kits are designed for the factory 4 bolt pattern damper shown here

Quality aftermarket balancers are available for this engine, but some aftermarket dampers are not direct replacement for factory dampers. Be sure the manufacturer specifies the factory correct bolt pattern and pulley spacing

Additional Notes

All 351C kits use two 6 groove serpentine belts (except for CFS04/CFS14 kit which has one 6 groove serpentine belt)
351C kits are designed for use with electric cooling fans. If you need to run a mechanical fan, contact us and we can make modifications to the waterpump pulley
